ABOUT THE BLOCK PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE
Block programming is a new approach to scheduling at CraterWorks that simplifies booking, makes room for teacher training and development, and introduces high school lab days that provide for more immersive experiences in the shop.
Mondays and Tuesdays are open for class visits for all grade levels
Wednesdays are set aside for teacher training and development
Thursday and Fridays are open for all classes and extended lab time is available for HS classes
High School Lab blocks are new at CraterWorks. Thursdays and Fridays are still available for all grade levels.
High school teachers interested in coordinating extended lab blocks on Thursday and Fridays are encouraged to meet with CraterWorks staff and their principals to discuss details. Email teach@craterworks.org.
D6 Shop Schedule
Available blocks are marked OPEN. Blocks marked D6 - "Teacher Name" are booked.

Teacher & Student Access for District 6
CraterWorks is a resource available to all District 6 teachers and students.
Teacher Access
All District 6 teachers may use the space during regular membership hours. As with regular members, relevant shop orientations are required in order to use equipment. D6 teachers enjoy FREE Unlimited Monthly membership privileges.
Student Access
District 6 students may use the space in several ways:

Open Lab hours (Fridays 4pm-7pm)
Students must call ahead to book time during open lab time. Access limited to Computer Lab, Fab Lab, and Assembly Area.
